APY Lands

Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) is an Aboriginal local government area in the remote north-west corner of South Australia. Covering more than 100,000 km2, the APY lands are home to around 2500 people, mostly from the Pitjantjatjara, Yankunytjatjara and Ngaanyatjarra groups.

 

TAFE SA has learning centres at the following locations in the APY Lands.

These centres are an important part of their communities, providing training and support to jobseekers and employers. Our lecturers can deliver courses in our training centres, workplaces or other sites.

Vocational Training

A range of vocational training is offered in response to requests and includes qualifications and skill sets in:

  • hospitality
  • business administration
  • community services
  • conservation and land management.
